Gene expression by RT-qPCR

Priced per project

Charged per item: RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, primers and qPCR reactions (samples × genes). Example: 24 raw samples × 5 genes, from RNA extraction to report, BDT 313,800 (about BDT 13,075 per sample). If a sample fails RNA QC, repeat extraction and cDNA synthesis cost BDT 2,200. Discounts for more than 50 samples.

Turnaround: 2–3 weeks after sample QC

Includes a housekeeping (reference) gene; we can design and synthesise the primers

Frequently asked questions

How should I preserve RNA samples?

Send cDNA made with oligo(dT) primer, stored at −80 °C and shipped on ice, or tissue preserved in RNAlater. If a sample fails quality control, RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis cost BDT 5,000 extra per sample.

How many replicates do I need?

At least three biological replicates per condition are recommended for reliable results.

Can you do the bioinformatics?

Yes. Standard RNA-Seq analysis is included for projects of 30 or more samples submitted together. For smaller projects it is available at extra cost.
